Allie Card recently joined the Family Promise team as Executive Director after transitioning from her role as Housing Locator/Case Manager. As a case manager, she was focused on Tenant Based Rental Assistance and housing opportunities for the families we serve. Allie also graduated from the University of Denver with a Masters in Social Work and completed her Masters of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary in 2015.
“Family Promise has been a great fit for me – I’m very passionate about working with people experiencing homelessness and those in the faith community,” Allie said. “I have been so blessed to work with the staff at Family Promise!”
Allie completed her undergraduate studies in social work and has been excited to walk alongside and serve people for as long as she can remember. She has worked various jobs related to social services and enjoys forming relationships with those generally thought of as “in need” because they have taught her so much in return. She hopes to work with the homeless population in the future and advocate for affordable housing in the Denver-metro area.
In her free time, Allie enjoys running and being crafty. She and her husband also love adventures and playing music together.
