In Denver, she reviews research for the Institutional Review Board of Kaiser Permanente Colorado. “My main focus in this role is to assure that there are appropriate ethical measures in place to protect the rights and welfare of people participating as subjects in research studies,” she said. “This is a rewarding position with a mission to support research that can be translated into clinical practice, health promotion, and policies to influence the health of individuals and populations.”
Jessica also has a passion for community service and joined AmeriCorps VISTA after graduate school.
“This is where my journey with Family Promise began. I served as a Development and Outreach Coordinator with Family Promise of Western New York,” she said. “After completing my VISTA service, I joined the Board of Trustees to continue to support the mission of the organization.”
Jessica has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Urban Planning with a specialization in Community Development. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors and loves to snowboard and hike!
