Miriam Rosenblum; Office and Volunteer Coordinator

Meet Miriam Rosenblum

Family Promise | Miriam Rosenblum

Miriam Rosenblum joined the staff at Family Promise in March 2016. She found Family Promise when she and her family and friends from their synagogue, B’nai Havurah, first volunteered for Family Promise several years ago. She loves the way the shelter engages faith communities to help care for fellow neighbors experiencing homelessness!

Miriam’s background is in music (she has a master’s degree in oboe performance from State University of New York at Stony Brook). She also has undergraduate degrees from Yale University and Metropolitan State University of Denver. In recent years, Miriam has pursued her interest in working with youth, including mentoring public school students though Denver Kids, tutoring young children involved in Reading Partners, taking inner city teens backpacking with Big City Mountaineers, and leading VOLoCITY, a program for teens interested in volunteering at area nonprofits.

Outside of work, Miriam enjoys being outdoors, reading, baking and spending time with her family. She also teaches music and plays with Semplice Baroque as well as Hal Aqua and The Lost Tribe.
